The BioSANS instrument is at the Center for Structural Molecular Biology (CSMB) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

On March 2, 2021, the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory hosted a webinar to showcase how researchers can gain access to the Biological Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (BioSANS) instrument when applying to the FY2022 EMSL-JGI FICUS call for proposals.

Presentations from:

  • Scott Lea, EMSL’s Structural Biology Integrated Research Platform lead
  • Hugh O’Neill, from the Center for Structural Molecular Biology at ORNL
  • Himadri Pakrasi, Washington University in St. Louis on “Solar Energy Conversion in Cyanobacterial Membranes”
  • Marcus Foston, Washington University in St. Louis on “Integrated Multi-omics Analyses for the Prediction of Metabolic Flux in. Lignin Conversion”
