Jan. 12: The Rapidly Expanding Genomics of Algae
With advances in genomics technologies, keen interest in the bioenergy and biotechnology potential of algae, and sampling of the length and breadth of algal diversity, the numbers of sequenced algal genomes, and the quality of those genomes, is rising. The purpose of this Workshop is to illustrate the expansion of this field and bring it to the attention of the wider genomics community.
Jan. 13: BER Plant Genomic Science
In this workshop, we will present current and ongoing developments at the JGI and KBase toward integrative biology and hear from researchers who are applying genomic sequence information to BER funded activities of plant systems. We will describe how to apply for a project with the JGI Community Science Program and how you can use the KBase system to accelerate your plant genomics research.
