Shuttle Service
Shuttle service stops would be available in the UC Campus. Please use the Orange Route to be dropped off at the Bancroft & Telegraph stop which will be within walking distance to the MLK Building.
Parking
Event Location: ASUC Student Union Martin Luther King (MLK Building), East Pauley Ballroom
The closest lots are RSF Garage or Hearst Parking Lot. There is also a public parking garage one block over on Durant.
How to Submit an Abstract to be considered for a short talk?
If you answered “YES” to presenting a poster, please use the link below to submit the abstract. A maximum of 40 posters will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis due to space limitations. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] if you would like to be waitlisted.
The poster abstract submission deadline is September 27, 2024.

Is there a poster competition this year?
To be announced.
Poster board sizes will be 95″ (W) x 48″ (L) of usable space.
There will be no restrictions on the poster size itself but for reference, we usually use the size 36″ x 48″.
Zoom Webinar
Zoom links will be provided via email at 7:30am of the mornings of the event to those who have registered as virtual attendees.
Please note that all all talks will be recorded and uploaded to our Berkeley Lab YouTube unless specifically requested to not be published by the speakers due to the content of their talks.
Refunds
Please note that the cancellation policy below would be as follows:
- 100% refund upon request prior to August 31, 2024
- 50% refund upon request from September 1 – October 1, 2024
- No refunds will be permitted after October 1, 2024
