The JGI has reserved a block of rooms with a discounted rate at the
Embassy Suites. The hotel is only a ten-minute drive (by car or jamboree shuttle) from the JGI Production Genomics Facility and is handy to the Pleasant Hill BART stop. Rooms in the block at Embassy Suites will cost $101 per night (government rate), which includes breakfast. Government ID will not be required to receive this rate. Be sure to give the group/convention code (JG2) when reserving your room. The hotel will hold the block of rooms until midnight Thursday, April 6. After that date, the discount rate will apply based only upon room availability.

Meals
A continental breakfast will be served each morning at the JGI. For those who prefer a more complete morning meal, the Embassy Suites also offers a complimentary full breakfast. A catered lunch will be served at the JGI. Dinner is on your own, except for the Jamboree dinner on Wednesday night.
The venue for Wednesday night's dinner is a local Walnut Creek restaurant. Be sure to indicate whether you'll be able to join us for dinner when you register online.
