Room Location
The jamboree will be held in the Chabot Meeting Room at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Laptops
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops. JGI will have laptops on hand for participants who opt not to bring their own. Participants will have use of these laptops for the duration of the Jamboree.
A Note on the Weather
Hot, sunny days are the norm for Walnut Creek in September. (The average high for the jamboree dates is 86 degrees, and the average low is 56.) There is almost no chance of rain, as this is during Northern California's dry season. If you go to the coast, either near the ocean or along the bay, the weather can be significantly cooler. A light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended for excursions to the west of the East Bay Hills.
