2010 Posters and Abstracts

Submission Instructions

Poster abstract submission deadline: Monday, February 22, 2010.

A book of poster abstracts will be distributed at the upcoming JGI Users Meeting.

All JGI User Meeting registrants are eligible to submit poster abstracts at any time prior to the submission deadline.

Formatting

Each abstract submission must meet the following criteria:

Each abstract must be submitted as a Microsoft Word formatted document.
The total length should not exceed 500 words.
The Title should be clearly presented in Bold typeface at the top of the page.
The name of the Lead/First Author should be in Bold typeface.
The name of the Presenting Author should be indicated by an asterisk.
Affiliations (organization, city, state/country) should be provided for all authors.
- If multiple institutions are represented, assign each organization a number. Include the authors’ names with
  the superscripted number of their affiliation, followed by a numbered list of corresponding affiliations.
No graphics or figures will be printed, however please insert links to online information, if applicable.

Submission

Abstracts must be sent via email, with subject line: “JGI User Meeting”
Send abstracts to Sheryl Martin (martinsa@ornl.gov) by the submission deadline, Monday, February 22, 2010.

Presentation

Maximum size allowed for each poster presentation will be 4 ft x 4 ft.
There are currently two poster sessions scheduled during the 2010 JGI User Meeting:
- March 24 – Wednesday Evening Opening Reception, Poster Session and Keynote Address at the Walnut Creek Marriott
- March 25 – Thursday Evening JGI Reception, Poster Session and Tours at the JGI.
Prior to the Meeting, presenting authors will be notified regarding which session their poster is scheduled to appear.
